These images were created in 2020 at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, by designing temporary tattoos using previous hospital bills that have resulted in my medical debt. Through showing these prices on my skin, I want to illustrate the lasting effects of inaccessible medical treatment, and how this economic trauma continues to live through my body.
