Declan McKenna is an experimental animator based in Baltimore, Maryland.

He is a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art. His work focuses on materiality, queer identity, and the deconstruction of linear understandings of self.

His clients and projects include NASA Goddard, the Maryland Science Center, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Sweaty Eyeballs International Animation Festival.
Declan runs the group MICA Organizers and Activists, and provides educational training for student activists through the Baltimore Intercollegiate Alliance. He has worked with Students Learn, Students Vote to develop voting tools to be used nationally on college campuses.
